Shelfplan: Specifications & Accessories

Note: Some of the sizes, options and accessories described below are not available directly from our catalogue. However, they can all be obtained by contacting us directly to discuss your requirements.

Frames and Beams

	The standard beam is 75 mm. A 90 mm deep beam is available for higher loadings. To guard against accidental dislodgement, a safety pin is inserted through the beam bracket and concealed behind the upright.
	Frames are supplied with a 2.5 mm galvatite footplate (67.5 mm wide x 47 mm deep). This can be bolted to the ground where required.
	Uprights are 63 mm wide x 45 mm deep x 1.6 mm thick with a capacity up to 7000 kg subject to the height of the first beam level. Bracing is fixed to the uprights by means of rivets. Upright slots are on a 50 mm vertical pitch allowing greater flexibility for the placement of beam levels.

System Shelfplan is comprised of two standard components, frames and beams, which can be used to build starter and extension bays to suit any storage requirement. Standard Bays are supplied with galvatite steel shelf panels.

Shelves are produced from galvatite material with a zinc coating that provides excellent protection against corrosion and abrasion. Shelves are supplied in various sizes to suit different requirements.	An economical and hardwearing shelf which is ideal for archive storage, stationery stores, packaging etc.	Provide a wipe clean surface where high levels of cleanliness are required such as in pharmaceutical or electronic industries.	Mesh shelf panels 50 x 50 mm provide excellent air flow around stored products and also suit installations where a sprinkler system is in operation. Custom sizes available for use with step or box beams.

MFC panels can be attached to outside frames in a run to achieve a closed/clad effect. The attractive finish makes them an ideal choice for office and retail environments.	Are available in standard duty 27 mm or heavy duty 33 mm diameter tube with System Shelfplan brackets. (Other diameter tubes can be supplied for special applications).	Full width storage drawers can be fitted into shelving bays and are ideal for small parts and component storage.	Full and half height dividers can be fitted to single runs of deep shelving. This creates a double run, reducing the number of frames and beams required in the installation.
