Fire & Sound Stud Partitioning
Fire & Sound partitions are a highly versatile demountable and re-locatable office partitioning system designed for use in both general office and light industrial areas. Constructed from 50mm or 75mm steel studs, the void is usually filled with acoustic insulation and aluminium or plastic trim profiles are used to retain the 12.5mm plasterboard panels finished with a range of washable vinyls.
The partition system offers a high degree of choice and flexibility in design coupled with high performance and good aesthetics, both single and double glazing is availablewith or without integral blinds.
Sound / Fire partition doors are available with many differing veneerfinishes and with or without glazed vision panels, all of which are 44mm thick heavy duty and solid core in construction.
Standard module width is 1200 mm. Maximum construction height is determined by the choice of stud sections sizes, reaching a maximum height of 4200 mm using standard components (jumbo stud is availableto go to 6m+ high).
The aluminium framing sections are available in a satin anodised finish, or in a range of twelve standard colours.
Fire Rated Partitioning: 30 and 60 minutes to BS 476 pt22 for doors, glazing and solid modules
Sound Rating: From 34dB Rw to 52dB Rw depending on solid / glazed modules chosen
